กองอาคารสถานที่ งานความปลอดภัย ลงพื้นที่กำกับและติดตามการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ของเจ้าหน้าที่รักษาความปลอดภัย (รปภ.) บริเวณทางแยกและทางข้ามถนนภายในมหาวิทยาลัย ในช่วงเวลา 07.30–08.30 น. และ 16.30–17.30 น. ซึ่งเป็นช่วงที่มีผู้ใช้เส้นทางเป็นจำนวนมาก เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกในการเดินทาง ลดความแออัด และป้องกันความเสี่ยงจากอุบัติเหตุ
การลงพื้นที่ครั้งนี้มุ่งเน้นการยกระดับแนวทางการปฏิบัติหน้าที่ของเจ้าหน้าที่ โดยเน้นการใช้สัญญาณมือที่เป็นมาตรฐาน การจัดลำดับการเคลื่อนตัวของยานพาหนะอย่างเหมาะสม การให้ผู้เดินเท้าบริเวณทางข้ามได้รับความสำคัญเป็นลำดับแรก รวมถึงการเลือกตำแหน่งยืนที่ปลอดภัย พร้อมสวมใส่เสื้อสะท้อนแสงและอุปกรณ์ป้องกันส่วนบุคคลอย่างครบถ้วนตลอดระยะเวลาการปฏิบัติหน้าที่
นอกจากนี้ ยังได้สำรวจสภาพการเดินรถและประเมินจุดสัญจรที่มีความหนาแน่น เพื่อนำข้อมูลมาปรับปรุงแนวทางการบริหารจัดการให้มีประสิทธิภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น อันจะช่วยลดความเสี่ยงในการเกิดอุบัติเหตุ เพิ่มความคล่องตัวของการเดินทาง และสร้างความมั่นใจให้แก่ผู้ใช้เส้นทางภายในมหาวิทยาลัย
กองอาคารสถานที่ ยังคงมุ่งมั่นพัฒนาระบบการบริหารจัดการด้านการจราจรและมาตรการด้านความปลอดภัยอย่างต่อเนื่อง เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพการให้บริการ สร้างสภาพแวดล้อมที่เอื้อต่อการเรียน การทำงาน และการใช้ชีวิต พร้อมส่งเสริมให้การเดินทางภายในมหาวิทยาลัยเป็นไปด้วยความสะดวก เป็นระเบียบ และปลอดภัยสำหรับทุกคน
The Safety and Security Section, Division of Building and Facilities, conducted a field visit to supervise security officers stationed at intersections and pedestrian crossings across campus during peak hours (7:30–8:30 AM and 4:30–5:30 PM), aiming to facilitate traffic flow, reduce congestion, and minimize accident risks.
This field visit focused on upgrading officers' operational practices, emphasizing the use of standardized hand signals, appropriately sequencing vehicle movement, prioritizing pedestrians at crossings, selecting safe standing positions, and wearing reflective vests and full personal protective equipment throughout their duty.
In addition, traffic conditions were surveyed and high-density points were assessed to inform improvements in traffic management and enhance overall efficiency. This will help reduce the risk of accidents, ensure smoother travel, and build confidence among those using routes within the university.
The Division of Building and Facilities remains committed to the continuous development of traffic management systems and safety measures, in order to enhance the quality of service and create an environment conducive to learning, working, and daily life.
