กองอาคารสถานที่ มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา โดยงานสวนและภูมิทัศน์ ดำเนินการปรับปรุงและเพิ่มพื้นที่สีเขียวภายในมหาวิทยาลัย ด้วยการล้อมและย้ายต้นชมพูพันธุ์ทิพย์จากพื้นที่โรงพยาบาลมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา มาปลูกบริเวณด้านข้างอ่างหลวง ตรงสะพานเหลือง หน้าคาเฟ่เกษตร จำนวน 43 ต้น เพื่อเพิ่มความร่มรื่น เสริมความสวยงามของภูมิทัศน์ และยกระดับทัศนียภาพโดยรอบของมหาวิทยาลัย
ก่อนดำเนินการปลูก งานสวนและภูมิทัศน์ได้เตรียมความพร้อมของพื้นที่ด้วยการปรับปรุงและบำรุงดิน โดยใช้ปุ๋ยหมักจากนวัตกรรม BioNest เพื่อเพิ่มธาตุอาหารและปรับโครงสร้างดินให้เหมาะสมต่อการเจริญเติบโตของต้นไม้ ช่วยให้ต้นชมพูพันธุ์ทิพย์สามารถตั้งตัวได้ดีหลังการย้ายปลูก และเติบโตอย่างแข็งแรงในระยะยาว
เมื่อเข้าสู่ฤดูออกดอก ต้นชมพูพันธุ์ทิพย์จะผลิดอกสีชมพูบานสะพรั่งตลอดแนวพื้นที่ สร้างบรรยากาศที่สวยงามและโดดเด่น จนได้รับการขนานนามว่าเป็น "ซากุระเมืองไทย" ด้วยความงดงามของดอกที่ผลิบานพร้อมกันเป็นช่อสีชมพูละมุนตา คาดว่าจะช่วยเติมสีสันให้บริเวณริมอ่างหลวงและสะพานเหลือง พร้อมก้าวสู่การเป็นอีกหนึ่งแลนด์มาร์กสำหรับการชมธรรมชาติและบันทึกภาพความประทับใจภายในมหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา
นอกจากนี้ งานสวนและภูมิทัศน์ยังได้ดำเนินการปลูกซ่อมดอกบัวตองในอีกบริเวณหนึ่ง ซึ่งอยู่คนละฝั่งกับจุดปลูกชมพูพันธุ์ทิพย์ เพื่อทดแทนต้นที่เสื่อมสภาพและเพิ่มความสมบูรณ์ของแปลงปลูก โดยเมื่อถึงช่วงฤดูออกดอก ดอกบัวตองจะผลิบานเป็นสีเหลืองสดใส ช่วยเติมสีสันและสร้างความโดดเด่นให้กับภูมิทัศน์ของมหาวิทยาลัยได้อย่างลงตัว
การดำเนินงานครั้งนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการพัฒนาและยกระดับภูมิทัศน์มหาวิทยาลัยพะเยา โดยให้ความสำคัญกับการเตรียมพื้นที่ปลูกและการบำรุงดินด้วยปุ๋ยหมักจากนวัตกรรม BioNest เพื่อส่งเสริมการเจริญเติบโตของต้นไม้ เพิ่มความร่มรื่นให้กับพื้นที่สีเขียว และสร้างสภาพแวดล้อมที่น่าอยู่ภายในมหาวิทยาลัยอย่างยั่งยืน

The Division of Building and Facilities, University of Phayao, through its Garden and Landscape Section, has carried out improvements and expanded green spaces within the university by transplanting 43 Tabebuia rosea (pink trumpet) trees from the University of Phayao Hospital area to a new location beside Ang Luang, near the Yellow Bridge in front of the Agriculture Café. This initiative aims to increase shade, enhance the beauty of the landscape, and elevate the surrounding scenery of the university.
Prior to planting, the Garden and Landscape Section prepared the area by improving and conditioning the soil, using compost from the BioNest innovation to add nutrients and adjust the soil structure to suit tree growth. This helped the Tabebuia rosea trees establish themselves well after transplanting and grow strong over the long term.
When the flowering season arrives, the Tabebuia rosea trees will bloom in full pink blossoms throughout the area, creating a beautiful and striking atmosphere. This has earned them the nickname "Thailand's Sakura." Thanks to the charm of their soft pink clusters blooming all at once, these trees are expected to add color to the area around Ang Luang and the Yellow Bridge, and are poised to become another landmark for nature viewing and capturing memorable photos within the University of Phayao.
In addition, the Garden and Landscape Section has also replanted Mexican sunflowers (Bua Tong) in a separate area opposite the Tabebuia rosea planting site, replacing deteriorated plants and improving the overall condition of the planting beds. When the flowering season arrives, the Mexican sunflowers will bloom in vibrant yellow, adding color and creating a striking highlight that complements the university's landscape.
This initiative is part of the ongoing development and enhancement of the University of Phayao's landscape, with emphasis on preparing planting areas and conditioning the soil using compost from the BioNest innovation to promote tree growth. This helps increase shade in green spaces and creates a sustainably pleasant environment within the university.
