Phayao University is a place rich in biodiversity, featuring the cultivation and care of plant species that are significant for both economic and environmental reasons. The plants grown at Phayao University include both indigenous species and those introduced for research and educational purposes.

Indigenous Plant Species

  • Longan (Dimocarpus longan): A fruit of economic value, popular in markets and widely cultivated in Phayao province.
