Division of Buildings and Facilities

The Division was established according to the resolution of the University Council of Phayao University at Meeting No. 5/2010 on September 19, 2010, approving the announcement of Phayao University regarding the division of internal units within the administrative section of Phayao University, B.E. 2010. The announcement was issued on September 19, B.E. 2010, dividing the internal units according to Section 7 (2) of the Phayao University Act, B.E. 2010, effective from October 1, B.E. 2010 onwards. Initially, the internal structure was divided into 4 units: Administration, Security, Utilities and Maintenance, and Landscaping. Over the years since its establishment, adjustments have been made to the subdivisions within the Division of Buildings and Facilities to support the policies and direction of Phayao University management as follows:

B.E. 2013

At the 62nd meeting of the Phayao University Administration Committee (13/2013) on September 6, 2013, a resolution was approved to establish an additional internal unit: the Environmental Unit, to support the environmental development of the university. The name of the Security Unit was also changed to the Safety Unit.

B.E. 2019

At the 9th meeting of the Phayao University Administration Committee in B.E. 2019 on May 27, 2019, a resolution was passed to restructure the Information Technology and Communication Service Center and transfer the Audiovisual Unit to be under the Division of Buildings and Facilities.

B.E. 2019

At the 20th meeting of the Phayao University Administration Committee in B.E. 2019 on November 22, 2019, a resolution was passed to establish an additional internal unit: the Design and Construction Unit.

B.E. 2020

At the 29th meeting of the Phayao University Administration Committee in B.E. 2020 on April 22, 2020, a resolution was passed to transfer the Design and Construction Unit to the Office of the President and to establish another internal unit: the Special Affairs Unit.

B.E. 2021

At the 49th meeting of the Phayao University Administration Committee in B.E. 2021 on March 10, 2021, a resolution was passed to dissolve the Special Affairs Unit from the internal units of the Division of Buildings and Facilities.

B.E. 2021

At the 53rd meeting of the Phayao University Administration Committee in B.E. 2021 on May 12, 2021, a resolution was passed to transfer the Audiovisual Unit to the Information Technology and Communication Service Center, effective from May 1, B.E. 2021 onwards.

B.E. 2023

At the 98th meeting of the Phayao University Administration Committee in B.E. 2023 on April 5, 2023, a resolution was passed to improve the internal units within the Division of Buildings and Facilities by adding an additional Design and Construction Unit, effective from April 25, B.E. 2023 onwards.

B.E. 2023

At the 109th meeting of the Phayao University Administration Committee on September 26, 2023, a resolution was passed to improve the internal units within the Division of Buildings and Facilities by transferring the Central Supplies Unit from the Office of the President to the Division of Buildings and Facilities, effective from October 1, B.E. 2023 onwards.
